| Project title : Construction of Fishery Complex (Processing, Packaging and Freezing of Aquatic Animals) | |
| Project Description : Sistan province and Baluchistan have 240 thousand fishermen in 11 fishing harbors and catch unloading stations with more than 100 active fishing industry production units. Besides that, there are about 1,000 launches and 1,500 fishing boats operating in 340 fishing cooperatives in the ports of Chabahar and Konarak. These activities have placed Chabahar and Konarak in the second ranking place of fishing in the Indian Ocean after Indonesia and the first ranking place of fishing in the western Indian Ocean. |
