| Project Description : It is a thermoplastic polymer from the family of polyesters, which is produced by the stepwise polymerization method of the reaction between the acids (PET) of polyethylene terephthalate 1. This product is mainly produced by mixing ethylene glycol with terephthalic acid with the help of (MEG) and pure monoethylene glycol (PTA), heat and catalyst, which is a linear polymer and resistant to solvents. Because of its special characteristics, this type of polymer is used in the storage of various types of beverages, including carbonated beverages. It is produced from the inter-acid reaction (PET) of polyethylene terephthalate 1. This product is mainly produced by mixing ethylene glycol with terephthalic acid with low K (MEG) and monoethylene glycol (PTA) with pure heat and catalyst, which is a linear polymer and resistant to solvents. Because of its special characteristics, this type of polymer is used in the preservation of various types of drinks, including carbonated drinks. Polyethylene terephthalate is generally produced in crystalline (matte) and amorphous (transparent) types, which include several grades.
